MARISSA RESORT sazanseto suo-oshima is taking various steps to protect the island’s history, nature, culture, and traditions and contribute to its development. As part of this effort, we will be holding a photo contest titled “Suo-Oshima Cherry Blossom Scenery We Want to Protect.”

Suo-Oshima is home to a variety of cherry blossoms, including Kawazu cherry blossoms, mountain cherry blossoms, Yoshino cherry blossoms, and weeping cherry blossoms. It is said that cherry blossoms are in bloom in 43 locations within the town, including the 5km-long cherry blossom line along Prefectural Route 60 and the weeping cherry blossoms at Obiishi Kannon. We are now accepting photos of “cherry blossom scenery we want to protect” not only from famous spots on Suo-Oshima, but also from lesser-known hidden spots.

Submitted works will be judged, and the winning works will be exhibited in the hotel and posted on the hotel’s official website.

In addition, submitted photos may be used in communication from the hotel (see 7 below).

３．How to apply

３．Please include the location and story behind the photo in the caption (optional).

③Please submit your photo in a standard file format such as JPEG (size between 3MB and 15MB).

４．Eligibility

• Anyone can participate, whether professional or amateur.
• Entries must be unpublished photos taken by the applicant.
• Each person may submit as many photos as they like.

• Grand Prize (1 person): Accommodation voucher for two
• Excellent Prize (3 people): Dinner voucher for two
• SNS Special Prize (5 people): Top 5 works with the most likes (a commemorative gift)
  *Only those who apply via Instagram are eligible for the SNS Special Prize.
